For New construction, the cost of fill, right-of-way, and other consideration may take a steeper slope desirable. and to avoid the failure of these steep slopes, plenty of suitable structures are available, ranging from conventional gravity wall up to geosynthetic reinforced earth structure.

Conventional retaining earth structure like concrete masonry or reinforced concrete have limited in facing appearance. They only give us strong and stiff structure or a certain simple repetitive pattern. To make it more beautiful, we need extra cost, time and additional structures.
