Application: DRAINAGE SYSTEM

General

In civil engineering, drainage is as important as it is in the building industry. While an impermeable layer is not always specified, the drainage alone has to protect the construction against infiltration of water. Moreover, the drainage has to prevent the development of hydrostatic pressure against the structure, which could endanger its stability.

Drainage Material
Traditional Material:
  • Coarse gravel
  • Coarse sand (with well drainage properties)
  • Porous concrete blocks
Synthetics Material
The flexible material with a drainage and filter layers
Material performance benefits
  • Provides a highly effective and efficient seepage and drainage layer in all areas of construction.
  • Protects waterproof coatings against damage during backfilling
  • Forms an insulating air layer between wall and soil
  • Prevents silting up of the collector drain
  • Lightweight and easy to handle
  • Simple to install
  • Can be used under all weather conditions
  • Can easily be cut with a sharp knife or scissors
  • Rotproof; no risk of pollution of the subsoil
  • Unaffected by chemicals commonly occuring in the soil
